9.  I Love how you bring more joy to our life
10. Most of all, I Love how you make my life more meaningful

And so we are welcoming the last phase of this miraculous moment. Just three months before D-day, and the euphoria can't seem to tone down. Then again, why it should, we are going to welcome another human being to this extensive family.
I guess it's time for pre-labor day shopping already. I've set up a few mandatory list, a visit to mom and kid expo a few weeks ago really help my reference list. Let the hunts begin!! :)

My Dearest

I can’t help but smile when I see you at the doctor today. When i go for a check up after the first trimester I expected to see a human body form at the ultra sound monitor. And there you are just as I expected, a growing strong and perfectly healthy baby. Actively moving your little baby feet. 
And I just can’t wait,, 
I can’t wait for you to be so strong that I get a really hard first kick in my tummy 
I can’t wait for you to grow so big that I get a full round tummy with a healthy baby inside 
Most of all I can’t wait for you to feel like it’s the day for you to breathe the air for the first time 
My dearest baby, every single minute of this worldly life is an adventure 
I just can’t wait for you to be a part of mine, and me a part of yours.

The Latest Supernova is On

Akhirnya penantian lama itu terjawab lagi. Setelah menunggu selama -i dunno- 8 tahun? 9 tahun? seri ke-empat Supernova akhirnya terbit. Kesempatan ini pun tidak disia-siakan oleh book publisher untuk merilis kembali tiga buku sebelumnya dengan cover yang berbeda. Dengan desain yang lebih simple, modern, dan tanpa kontroversi (seperti tanda "ohm" pada buku "Akar").

Saya ingat 11 tahun yang lalu ketika seri pertama Supernova yang juga merupakan buku pertama Dewi Lestari terbit. Dalam hitungan menit, buku2 tersebut ludes terjual. Memang tidak salah lagi, awal 2000 adalah eranya novelis wanita Indonesia. Sebut saja Ayu Utami, Fira Basuki, si I guess Dee was born at the right time with the right stories.

Sama seperti buku-buku sebelumnya, selalu ada yang unik yang diangkat dari tiap2 seri. Jika buku pertama menyelipkan teori fisika kuantum, buku kedua yang sarat dengan buddhisme dan sedikit seluk beluk per-tato-an, buku ketiga dengan bisnis wirausaha Elektra, maka buku keempat ini lebih bersifat nge-bolang. Sekelumit kisah tentang kamp konservasi Orang Utan di Tanjung Puting, mengajak pembacanya untuk tersadar bahwa mother earth is dying. Tokoh utama yang berbakat fotografi dan berprofesi sebagai wildlife photographer, membuatnya tokoh yang berkaitan erat dengan pembaca. Kisahnya yang bisa tau2 menclok di Afrika, Inggris, tau2 Bolivia sangat2 menggiurkan bagi para pembaca yang fellow travellers. Oh, not only that, kali ini Dee pun membahas panjang lebar mengenai mikologi, entheogen, shamanism, and the possibility of extra terrestrial phenomena. Semua bumbu-bumbu tersebut dicampur menjadi satu, jadilah sebuah kisah tentang seorang anak yang mencari jawaban atas pertanyaan. Sebuah kisah tentang partikel yang menjawab kerinduan akan serial Supernova.

Dan pembaca pun tidak sabar untuk menunggu seri ke-lima Supernova terbit. Will it be soon, or took another 8 years?
